About Us

Samarth Pratishthan Dhol Tasha Pathak is a volunteer- based Group of Pune, Maharashtra whose motto is that a strong cultural bonding goes a long way in maintaining the social fabric.

Few like-minded people founded the Pratishthan in 1999 (Registerd in 2000 “Reg. No: Maharashtra/1422/2000”) and today its activities are pursued with the same zeal, thanks to our Core Team.

Volunteers from all walks of life congregate together to perform a host of acts which prominently include the Dhol, Tasha, Lezhim, Jhanj and Dhal Talwar. These acts are performed during various festivities like Dahi Handi, Shiv Jayanti, Navratri, Ganesh Jayanti, Swami Samarth Palkhi and most importantly, the very popular Ganesh festival.

The Pratishthan also believes in active contribution to the society and engages keenly in community service throughout the year.
